Our Story

The BAPCO association was created in Bujumbura, Commune Buyenzi, on 17/12/2008 by the founding members with a view to contributing to the reduction and prevention of HIV/AIDS, the promotion of the rights of people affected and infected by HIV/AIDS, through the activities of integrating affected and infected people into the process of combating the spread of HIV/AIDS, through the consolidation of Behavioral Change through training sessions, without discrimination.

Our Motivation

We are a cooperative organization with a regional humanitarian vocation. We are concerned by the fate of several families of people affected and infected by AIDS in a deplorable situation resulting from the prevalence of AIDS, opportunistic diseases, hunger and malnutrition, combined with the negative effects of war poverty which affect the entire Great Lakes sub-region.

Our Objective

Our objective is to reduce and prevent the HIH/AIDS and STDs. Organizing training seminars on HIV/AIDS prevention methods, as well as distributing materials that can help patients survive in their households.
